Watch Exterminate All The Brutes

Objective: to appreciate an artist or work outside the traditional context of a textbook. What additional information is present how does this film help with process or provide more information ?

Write a two page essay double spaced in which you first introduce the title of the film and it’s subject and then provide your reaction to the film/ what did you learn from the film? You may wish to comment on how a film changes or helps the way you learn- in this case discuss what you see on the screen and the sound, is there music, voice of the artist, narration ?

Consider the choices of the filmmaker. Is it mostly a voice over with still images does it include stuff about the artists life, does it make comparisons to the contemporary (our world today)? What stuff applies to an understanding of modern art or a modern world?

All information should come from direct observation do not use internet or museums or gallery websites

Use art work vocabulary

Double spaced 12pt font 1.25” margins on left and right and 1” top and bottom avoid using the word “I” instead for example use “one”

Be direct no “philisophocal” introduction required
