A new student has enrolled in a school where you serve as an administrator. This student identifies as transgender and has requested that there be a gender-neutral bathroom option available to them. When some of the community members hear of the request, they stage a protest and argue that gender-specific restrooms are required to keep students safe. As the administrator, you must make a decision about the issue.

Write a five-minute speech to deliver your decision regarding the gender-neutral bathroom. You will deliver your decision at an upcoming community information event. include your rationale for your decision and provide at least two citations to support your position.

Your assignment submission will be your completed transcript. There is no need to record the speech for this assignment.
