Despite social distancing limitations during the pandemic, there are still things we can do to support people who have disabilities. You’ve developed good writing skills this class session. So for your final test, choose someone with a disability to write to. It can be someone you know, like a friend or relative. It might be someone you wrote about in your Essay 2.
Or it could be a bunch of people at a group home or hospital. Then, go ahead and write to them. Write honestly from your heart, whether more seriously or casually, depending upon your audience. Even just a “thinking of you” letter will be fine. Whoever you write to is going to be thrilled to get your letter. It will mean so much to them emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. Tell them a nice joke if you want.
