The student will write a 3,000 word paper, analyzing a large scale US natural or manmade disaster. Keep your paper to within 10% of the required word count and keep introductions to approximately 10% of total word count of the paper. The student will also asses the role and effectiveness of emergency management specialists at all levels local-federal and the effectiveness of federal and state laws/guidelines in responding to and managing this event.
