After reading Chapter 1 and 2 above and review the video link above and answer the questions below. And reviewing the video you are required to answer the discussion questions below in a five-paragraphs response. The response must be based upon material provided above. Be sure to address the following aspects:
1) Why is it important to learn about ancient cultures?  How does this knowledge impact your life today?

2) A summary of the culture, time period, and geographic location.

3) Identify the major players and the motivation for their actions and any other cultures they come into direct contact with?

4) Cite at least two references from the textbook that relate directly to the culture described in the video.

5) Describe and analyze the historical significance of the culture.

The Two-page paper should contain a concise, focused of your understanding of the topic, based on the readings, questions and the video. I want you to be able to articulate in your own words the topics we cover in this week. The papers will be graded based on their Readability (5 points); Clarity of Objective, Purpose (3 points); Support, Analysis, and Critical Thinking (5 points); Audience Awareness (2 points); Organization (5 points); Completeness and Depth (5 points). The Two-page papers should be double-spaced, maximum 12-point type, maximum one-inch margins on all sides, in an MLA format.
