Why do you think the Government’s policy for resolving disputes is to first try informal negotiations? Have you ever been involved in a contract dispute? Were you able to negotiate a solution, or did you have to take further action?

Have you ever been in a contract with another person or a business that you wanted to get out of (terminate)? Did the contract permit either party to end the contract? Was this an easy process (or would it have been, if you attempted to end it)? Have you ever had to terminate a contract for “breach”?
