Writing Project (WP2): Conversation Account and Reflective Essay
Using your chosen genre, tell your audience about the conversation you listened to in the “Burkean parlor.” As you write, think about what you want to convey to your audience in order to help them understand the conversation. You should consider:
- The interests/questions about writing and reading that lead you to this conversation
- The other conversations you encountered while looking for this one
- How the conversation you settled into actually took place
- Who are the personalities in it, and what are their greatest concerns?
- What alliances or conflicts formed during the conversation?
- What turns were taken, and what order did it go in?
- How did people communicate?
- Were any particularly good or memorable lines delivered?
- What you learned from the conversation
