Health in early adulthood

Early adulthood is the healthiest time of life. Young adults are the strongest physically, the least prone to disease and infections, and highly aware of what it takes to be healthy (Turk, Rudy, & Salovey, 1984). It is important that we know our own health lifestyle and have the skills to improve. If we are not able to take care of ourselves then we are less likely to be able to take care of others.

Present your lifestyle profile. Include descriptions of your eating habits, exercise, substance use (and/or abuse), and health risks.

Assess your functioning in all areas.
