To critically assess the impact of remote working on motivation of employees of SMEs in the UAE, considering the moderating role of the remote working technology.

I. To investigate the impact of remote working on the motivation of employees in UAE SMEs.
II. To assess the degree to which technology moderates the relationship between remote working and employee motivation in UAE SMEs.
III. To provide recommendations on how SMEs in the UAE can improve and sustain high motivation of employees working remotely.
