Part 1
This project is an opportunity to do some research on multiple genocidal events/crimes against humanity. You will choose a particular stage of genocide according to Gregory H. Stanton’s Ten Stages of Genocide. You are able to choose ANY STAGE to focus on and explain. You will use a minimum of 3 different countries to illustrate how your chosen stage of progression to genocide is manifesting in each particular country. Use clear historic and current examples to explain how it fits into Gregory H. Stanton’s Ten Stages of Genocide (it does not need to have been officially declared a genocide or crime against humanity, you can argue for the inclusion of a country not listed).

Part 2
Include hope in your project.

What can/could have change(d)? Who could make the change? Is reconciliation possible?

What might that look like? Could we prevent it from progressing as a global community? These are just some of the questions you could embed into your project.
