In a local home healthcare agency, nurses are using their personal cell phones to email and text physicians, the agency, and local hospitals. The agency is considering providing the nurse’s company cell phones with a secure login. There are advantages and disadvantages to each option.

This would include the documentation sent through e-mail and available patient records. These sources of communication to provide efficient responses to n their patient care, reimbursement should be considered when using these forms of communication.
What are the advantages of using company devices for professional communication? The company assigned cell phone devices creates more memorization of numbers, phone setup, phone limitations, and the need to learn another cell system. The phones are bulky in pockets, risk of getting lost, contaminated, stolen, or miss placed. Walking off the job with them and returning them.
