The Evolution of Technology in Aviation
This Capstone Project is designed to walk the reader through the evolution of technology in aviation from many decades ago to present day; (including but not limited to technology inside the aircrafts, technology of ground-based navigation systems, such as VOR, NDB, ILS, RNAV, LNAV, VNAV, technology of satellite based navigation systems, automation within the cockpits and its uses and limitations (including case studies of failures of these features). The project should also include how weather radar systems have developed and aid in improving flight safety.
