• Produce an Essay word count of 2000 +/-10% [2000 words from Introduction to Conclusion] .

• Note: the reference list (APA) is not included in the 2000 words counts. The reading list must be part of the reference list. A copy of the reading list is attached in the file.

• Use the assignment guidance note attached in the file to structure the Essay.

• Using the generic critical appraisal tool attached in the file (Ellis 2019:210), assess the quality of the two primary research articles (the two articles “Quantitative and Qualitative” are attached in the file).

• Taking one article at a time, use the critical appraisal tool to answer the questions about the article. You will need to keep referring to the articles whilst you do this.

• Also, Use Data extraction template (Copy attached in the file), compile and summarise the main points of each article, their strengths and limitations. Attached the completed data extraction template in the Essay.

• You must NOT just describe the studies or compare them. The main aim of the assignment is to appraise the research methods to assess the quality of the research study in each article.
