Overview: This class is the final class in the program so this assignment is designed to challenge students to use all the management theories, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and concepts you have learned in the program. Most importantly you will be exposed to Multinational Management Theories and Cultural Management issues so it should help you in understanding how to develop a strategic plan to be able to succeed in other countries and what can be done to improve it.
Assignment: Develop 15-page term paper and presentation.

Assignment Details: Following are the term paper assignment details:
You must select a for profit or not for profit organization which is engaged in international business and examine their approach, strategies, financial performance, cultural management approach etc. based on what you have learned from your reading of the book and case analysis. You are welcome to select the organization and just analyze their presence in one continent or few countries. No need to review their presence in all of the countries.
Each student should select a unique organization. There are plenty of organizations available to there should be no problem to do this.
We will attempt to make sure we do not duplicate an organization/country. This will give all students an opportunity to extend their scholarly research and learn about other country and topics.
Paper should be based on:
Scholarly research of articles, books, analysis. Please do not use opinion-based articles obtained from news papers or news magazines.
Applicable data. (Demographic, Country Specific Data, Issue/Topic Specific Data, Economic Data, any other data that may help your argument/theory/topic).
If appropriate based on your organization/country you may use, financial data, analysis, graphs, charts, pictures etc. which can be verified and is from scholarly material. Please exclude personal commentary or observations.
Paper should be written in third person. Avoid first person “I”. You may use first person “I” in conclusion.
All papers must be original works that has not been previously submitted and contains original research.

Please note that quality is more important versus the length of the paper. Each student will be graded on quality of writing, scholarly research, substantiation of your argument/theory, supporting data and originality of work.
Term paper presentation: The presentation of your paper will be done by students providing 5-7-minute pre-recorded audio/video along with a Power Point Presentation (PPT). PPT’s and audio/video recording will be posted on discussion board so each student can review other student’s submissions. Please limit PPT’s to four slides only.
