Description
The first question of the EMA is centred on the Maltese case study developed in Block 3 and includes your
perspective of your group work experience. Question 2 provides you with an opportunity to assess the
Maltese context using ideas taken from Blocks 1 and/or 2 and include a domestic or organisational
perspective. Question 3 is your opportunity to reflect on the meaning of environmental management and your
experience of the learning cycle.
In Question 1, you should review the various outcomes of the group work emerging from the Maltese case
study . Y ou will need to set out these outcomes in a systematicmanner.
In Question 2, you will use modelling to help develop your analysis of the situation in Malta but now making
use of concepts taken from Blocks 1 and /or 2. As you will not have data or modelling software at your
disposal, you are not expected to undertake full modelling procedures or any associated data analysis.
However, you are expected to indicate what your chosen concept(s) would be used for , how you would apply
the concepts(s), the key steps you would take and the typeof (not actual) expected outcomes. Y ou will also be
asked to justify and assess the concept(s) you use.
Question 3 is an opportunity for you to reflect on your current understanding of some of the ideas, concepts
and practices related to environmental management in the light of your experience of T219. Y ou should also
comment on your experience of using the learning cycle in the module and reflect on whether this will
influence your own future practices. Y our answers for Q3 do not need to be limited to your answers to
Questions 1 or 2.
