Compartive history on the theme bodies

As with the review essay, where you brought together sources on more than one historical context, the long essay should also have some kind of comparative dimension. This comparison could involve analysing the situation in different place or time periods; comparing the ideas of important historical thinkers/texts; or applying a concept (e.g. Foucault’s idea of the medical gaze, to take an example from class) to different social/cultural/political settings.
