Critically think and analyze messages seen in the “real world” as it relates to both legal and psychological approaches to these topics. Evaluate, interpret, and support conclusions drawn from multiple theoretical and practical perspectives in order to explain content, determine its usefulness, and offer productive explanations. Tasks: For this assignment respond to and address each and all of the following questions outlined below.
In your response you must address all of the following criteria:
Comparing the Law and Psychology: (this criterion should take approximately 1-2 paragraphs to address)
Discuss and explain the 4 primary “conflicts” or differences between psychology’s approach and the law’s approach to human behavior.
Use information for Chapter 1 (Huss) and information discussed in the unit module introduction to content to support your response. Do not just copy from the textbook or assigned readings. You are being asked to explain and discuss this information.
Thus, you need to use your critical thinking skills and logic to make connections, compare, and contrast your own experiences and knowledge with the ideas/research discussed in the assigned readings.
Psychology & the Law in Action (this criterion should take approximately 1-2 paragraphs to address)
How does the Judas Priest case, discussed in Chapter 9 of Minds on Trial, demonstrate how psychology influences law?
Provide specific examples from the case to support your conclusions. This means you must clearly discuss and explain psychological and legal elements of the case.
Do not just restate the facts of the case. Clearly identify and label any psychological concepts which were prominent and identify and discuss the specific legal issue in question.
Intersection Opinion (this criterion should take approximately 1-2 paragraphs to address)
Briefly, in your opinion, why do people find the intersection of psychology and the law so fascinating?

You must support your overall discussion in this assignment with information, definitions, and research provided in the module pages, the Minds on Trial and Huss (2013) texts, as requested in each of the above prompts.
