The Dangers of Civil war.

Prepare a research paper discussing on the The Dangers of Civil war. The paper should only address the following things:

1) The paper should state very briefly in what way civil wars are different from inter-state wars. (max. 150 words).

2) The paper has to show why civil wars are so difficult to end/settle, and why in many cases they are more difficult to end than interstate wars. For example: because militias and rebel groups have reasons to keep the war going, high degree of fragmentation, decentralized power etc. (approx. 1100 words). All arguments have to be supported by literature.

3) the paper should discuss the consequences of civil war (approx. 300 words)

4) The paper should refer to the ‘Second Congo war’ a few times.

No conclusion is needed as this paper will be part of another research.
