Analysis and Rationale
Is there a Relationship between Religious Service Attendance and Happiness?Explain
The current lab project aimed at assessing the relationship between attendance and happiness. The correct analysis for the project is Pearson’s correlation. The rationale for using this analysis is that it is effective for determining a linear relationship between variables (Schober, Boer & Schwarte, 2018). The analysis will assist in determining the strength of the relationship and how one variable affects the other.

Attendance Pearson Correlation .282 1
Sig. (2-tailed) .374

Based on the output, there is a weak positive correlation between happiness and attendance (0.282). This means that the two variables are not strongly correlated. Equally, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.374, which is greater than alpha, 0.05. Therefore, an increase in service attendance does not significantly relate to an increase in happiness.
