Information on how to write and structure an argumentative essay, from Charlton and Barker, is included as a separate document for your review. Essay topics are noted below; anyone wishing to write on an alternate topic must receive instructor permission to do so by July 1st.
Essay Topics:Is globalism a desirable feature of the contemporary world? Is nationalism a primarily positive or negative force?  Should the electoral system in Canada be reformed? What accounts for the under-representation of women in Canada’s parliament and legislatures? Is economic growth and environmental sustainability at odds?
