Essay Prompt:

Abe was the head coach of the fifth-grade girls’ basketball team at Elementary School. Bob, the assistant coach, blamed Abe for the team’s poor performance. Frustrated after a painful loss, Bob loudly opined that Abe was, “the worst coach ever.”

Abe overheard Bob’s comment and angrily replied, “I’ll get you for that.” Then, Abe picked up a nearby basketball and threw it at Bob.  Seeing the basketball flying toward his head, Bob ducked and yelled “watch out” as he knew some players and parents were standing behind him.  The ball nearly struck Carl, a parent, in the back of the head.
