Special Populations of People in Need (Troubled Teens)

In Module 7, you completed and submitted Project 2, a PowerPoint presentation about a special population of people in need. For this activity, you will post your PowerPoint presentation to the discussion area to share with your classmates.

Use this Discussion to complete the activity below about the special population that you researched in your PowerPoint presentation.  Create a post that responds to these prompts:

• In your post, discuss your perceptions of client rights and ethical dilemmas as they pertain to the research you did for your PowerPoint presentation.
• Then, in commenting briefly about why you chose your selected group/population, explore how your general impressions of the group or population evolved as a result of your research.  Do you see any ethical decisions affecting this group that ought to be applied, or might be forthcoming from the human services profession?
