The critique should identify the argument from the essay then identify and analyze, with quoted examples, logical fallacies used to support the argument. Last, evaluate the strength or weakness of the essay’s argument based on the logical fallacies present.

Responses will be assessed according to the following criteria:
Ability to correctly identify logical fallacies in an argument, explain how they function, and analyze their effect on the argument.
Demonstrate knowledge of critical thinking terms and concepts (logical fallacies, inductive and deductive reasoning, assumptions, etc.).
Ability to write critically and persuasively, and to avoid personal bias.
