ASSIGNMENT

In a 2-3 page essay, provide an analysis on how the political economy of capitalism is aiding or hindering efforts at full democracy in the United States.

This analysis should identify the ways the economic system has affected the lives of Americans and the institutions and instruments of democracy at citizens’ disposal. Students’ analysis should put forth a persuasive argument with a cogent thesis and clear supporting details sustained by existing scholarship and/or empirical data.
