AIM

The aim of this rapid evidence assessment is to identify and explore the roles of practice nurses in effective diabetes care in United Kingdom (UK).

To systemically examine, ascertain and evaluate the effectiveness of the role of practice nurses in diabetes care

To equally identify and address the challenged faced by practice nurses which have impact in the effectiveness of the service they provide.

OBJECTIVES

To highlight the important roles that the practice nurses play in effective diabetes care.

To identify barriers to the effectiveness of diabetes care in practice nursing.

To evaluate the most effective way to care for diabetes patients in general practice.
