How does du Mez try to convince you that the issues that had been brewing in evangelicalism since the 1940s coalesced into a powerful, misogynist movement by the late 2000s?
As we move into the previous decade (the 2010s) what forces did she see arise that were new? Which ones were old? How did these cultural forces come together to produce what du Mez sees as a social problem? Do you think her argument is accurate? Why or why not?
