Must address a historical issue chosen from options presented in Week 1 and developed throughout the course.
Must compose an analytic thesis statement regarding the state of scholarship on the historical issue.
Must analyze the historiography relevant to the topic.
Must use at least six scholarly secondary sources. At least three of these sources must be derived from your own research that goes beyond the materials provided in the course for each topic.
