Practical reflections.
Activity:
Alongside your practical assessment you are required to upload a written reflection of the
practical work you have completed during the Orthodontic module. Maximum word count
of 500 words and your reflection must include images of the appliances you have
constructed.

Examples of reflection questions.
If you’re struggling to write reflections consider the following questions:
1. What did you learn from the work?
2. Did you think this work was important?
3. Did you give it your best effort? Why?
4. Did you come to lab prepared for the work (in both your attitude and with all your
supplies)?
5. What are some things you did well?
6. Did you make any mistakes?
7. What resources might you need to improve?
8. If you could do the work over, what would you do differently?
9. What do you believe the lecturer could have done differently to help you learn this
easier?
10. What more would you like to learn about the work (today, this week, this year, etc)?
11. What problems do you hope to solve relating to the work (today, this week, this year, in
your lifetime, etc)?
12. What will you need to learn to solve those problems?
13. How can you take what you have learned and apply it to your own life more generally?
14. What actions can you take next to help you reach your work goals in the future?
