I would like you to write an introduction to a research paper titled “How personality affects visual search performance”. This research paper investigates how the Big Five personality traits (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism) affect people’s performance on a visual search task. The visual search task used in this study is a task where participants have to find an orange letter T among distractors (blue Ts). The number of distractors increases. The hypothesis is that personality traits have an influence on visual search performance.

The introduction has to:
