Museum A:

Museum A has been around for 500 years and is located in a major world city. It displays art and artifacts from all over the world. It is considered one of the most comprehensive museums in the world. It is one of the top 5 most visited museums in the world.

Museum B:

Museum B is a specialty museum that focuses on the art within its own country and has been around for 10 years. All of the art has been purchased from the artists, artist’s families, or donated. It is not considered a destination museum but it has the best collection of art from this country in the world. This museum prides itself on its ethical acquisition of art.

First, identify which museum you choose.

Second, briefly give the marketing slogan for your museum that emphasizes its positive qualities.

Third, using support from the Module, address the issues that have been brought up regarding the ethical issues regarding art in Museum A. If you are working for Museum A, support their continued display of art that was acquired with unethical means. If you are working for Museum B, argue that Museum A should return those art pieces. Use references from the Module.
