Discuss some of the ethical issues raised by psychological research.
– You are to write about The Pygmallion Effect and explain what ethical issues come out of this study- how does it not folow some of the ethical guidelines
Evaluate the application of two approaches in psychology to an aspect of human behaviour.
– You are to use two psychological approaches- I would suggest behaviourism and psychodynamic explanations. You are to use these to explain Luke’s behaviour. You must also include one strength and one weakness to each of the explanations
Discuss two scientific research methods commonly used by psychologists.
– Can you write about a laboratory experiment and a case study. Explain what each is and also include a strength and a limitation to them both
Explain what is meant by scientific methodology.
– Can you explain what is meant by the following terms: hypothesis, variables, sampling and controls. This must be in sentences and not bullet points.
Your assignment must be in the form of an academic report- so please look at section 1.1 of the unit 3 study materials to help you with the structure.

You have not included any evidence from the case study of Luke- Have you downloaded these materials? You need this case study to be able to pass the assignment.
