Leadership Enabling Plan
Overview
This assignment provides you an opportunity to reflect on the work you have completed throughout the course and synthesize your thoughts on the co-creation of leadership with scholarly literature.
By successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the following course competencies:
Analyze models of relational leadership.
Evaluate leader behavior and practice in an inclusionary leadership model.
Evaluate barriers and facilitators to inclusionary leadership practice.
Apply inclusionary leadership theories and models to personal practice.
Communicate in a manner that is scholarly, professional, and consistent with expectations for members of the business professions.
Preparation
Use the Capella library to locate 3–5 additional resources about providing co-creation of leadership for groups, teams, and organizations.
Assignment Description
Complete the following:
Synthesize the scholarly literature reviewed in this course as it pertains to relational leader practices.
Evaluate personal findings of relational leadership practice. Where do you excel? Where do you struggle? Where would you place yourself on a 10-point scale with 1 being “Never Endogenic” and 10 being “Always Exogenic”? Is it possible to move up the scale to exogenic? Why or why not?
Describe three actions to overcome barriers to becoming a more relational leader.
Justify why each action supports increasing relational leadership.
Assignment Requirements
Written communication: Demonstrate doctoral-level writing skills through accurate communication of thoughts that convey the overall goals of the analysis and do not detract from the message.
Format: Use current edition APA formatting, including correct in-text citations, proper punctuation, double spacing throughout, proper headings and subheadings, no extra line spaces before headings and subheadings, proper paragraph and block indentation, no bolding, one-inch margins all around, and no bullets.
References: Include 3–5 new scholarly resources from the Capella library in addition to the course readings and resources used for previous assignments.
Length: 5 pages, not including title, abstract, and references pages.
Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
