LO1. Explain professional responsibilities and the importance of working with people to continuously monitor, evaluate and reassess the effectiveness of all care plans, promoting shared decision making and readjusting agreed goals (SoP 3.15, 4.3).
LO2. Explain the professional duty of candour, courage and transparency; including, recognising and reporting risks, behaviours and errors that may affect the quality of care provided (SoP 1.3).
LO3. Reflect upon on own readiness to fulfil the professional responsibility to act as a role model for others in providing high quality nursing care (SoP 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7).
LO4. Assess and prioritise the changing care needs of people; to facilitate discharge, transition between caseloads or services, and at the end of life (SoP 3.14, 4.9, 7.10).
LO5. Assess the quality of care provided by self and others and identify proactive measures to improve the quality of care and services (SoP 4.11, 5.7, 7.11).
