Epidemiology Project Paper on A Public Health Event and Paper OUTLINE
Project paper is to be submitted in the following format:
1. Project Paper: discuss the public health issue in the FEDS format:
a. Facts: State the facts about the topic and list any data or information that is
essential to understanding the public health issue. Do not use a personal voice.
Avoid the use of the words “I” “you” “me” “us” “we” etc.
b. Examples: This section is a literature review. Provide information from at least
seven (7) sources. Give examples of the problems or list an overview of the
impact of the issue on the public. This information can be regional, local, or
national. Make certain that the examples are accurate and reflected in your list of
references. Do not give personal examples.
c. Discussion: Discuss the problem at length. Tell the reader essential background
information that will help them to understand especially why it is important, who
it is important to; why the impact is so great, and what are some solutions to the
challenges.
