Objective of this Assignment:
1. To extend your skill in describing music in terms of the elements of music.
2. To become familiar with additional classical music outside your course.

I. Preparation:
1. . Have good knowledge of the terms (elements) of music and their descriptions. .

II. Assignment
1.Use the Concert Attendance note taking forms to make notes describing what you hear. Then – using sentences and short paragraphs, describe the works in terms of the elements using the notetaking forms

2. Select two recorded classical works (video or sound recording) (2) Print two CA submission forms (see link above). If your selection is a multimovement work discuss only one movement. Never discuss more than one movement collectively.

(1) If you are unsure, necessary Google your selection (title) in Wikipedia to determine if it is a multi movement work.

(2) Specify which movement you are describing. Discuss in terms of the elements listed on the submission forms as you listen. Do not discuss more than one ,movemenmt.
