This essay is not simply a report or a summary of the story chosen, but a close reading and in-depth discussion which involves summary of the chosen text. It should combine the previous ideas presented in class of summary, personal opinion, quotation, and paraphrasing.

Papers should include an interesting and catchy introduction, a strong thesis statement, informative body paragraphs, and a concise conclusion that restates the thesis in a new and exciting manner.

Papers should be double-spaced, written in 12-point, Time New Roman font. The paper should be 3-5 pages long (That’s 3 full-pages to 5 pages) and include 1-2 outside sources which can include websites, blogpages, articles, newsletters, and general statistics. Because you will need to use at least one outside sources, you should have a works cited page (this is not included in your page count).
