Your report must also acknowledge the opportunities and challenges presented by the research methods you have utilized.
A recommended structure is presented below.
Suggested structure:
Abstract: (around 250 words but not included in the word-count) – Overview/summary of key aspects of your report
Introduction: (around 200-250 words) – sets the scene for the report by outlining the organization,
the context and the main focus and topic of your research report. This will include a brief overview of the literature on your topic, and the organization relevance and significance of your research focus.
Findings and Discussion: (around 1,000-1,500 words) – Outlines key themes, main characteristics of the organization in relation to your topic focus, a critique of organizational settings including policy and practice evidenced from your research diary and other relevant information. Discusses the findings in the context of literature of relevance to your topic.
Conclusions and Recommendations: (around 500-750 words) –
(1) Summarize key findings drawn from the data and connect them to the broader research literature,
(2) Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of your work, including methodology,
Assignment 2 has been attached and there are 2 Research Objectives there. Although
it is a different organization than that for Assessment 3
(3) Discuss implications of your findings for the organization/industry, and suggestions for future research.
Critical reflection on skills and competencies: (around 500 words) provides evidence and meaningful reflection on personal learning during the module, and evaluates kills/competency development as a result of undertaking the field trip and research
