Culturally Responsive Teaching
Design an infographic on CRT for an audience of first-year teachers (or new corporate trainers). Follow the steps below to create your final product.
Step 1. Describe
Develop a succinct and original description of culturally responsive teaching (CRT).
Step 2. Take a Position
Some may argue that culturally responsive teaching (CRT) is inherently part of a teacher’s/trainer’s duty. Some may argue that CRT requires significant changes to traditional practices. What position do you take?
Step 3. Design
Imagine being the director of studies in an international school or a director of training in an organization. Design a graphically appealing document (perhaps an infographic or a 3- to 4-slide PowerPoint poster – see the Learning Objects page for templates) that outlines the essential characteristics of CRT for an audience of first-year teachers or new corporate trainers. Incorporate information from Steps 1-2 into the presentation as appropriate.
