Place the citation at the top of the page. Be sure you have used APA formatting. Start to write the annotated bib: the first sentence should speak to the topic of the article and what is being studied.

Describe the PICOT elements in a few sentences. Please do not list them but write a few sentences that are easy for the reader to follow and understand. The letters P, I, C, O and T should not appear in the annotated bib.

Lastly, comment on the relevance, accuracy and quality of the article. For example, “this study adds to my investigation of the topic of “XYZ” as it relates specifically to my population of interest, and has been carried out by qualified researchers using good research methodology”. [Insert here how
many stars you awarded it in Step 2.] Be sure the comments reflect the star rating.
