Title and proposal:

The proposal should be short: 250-300 words is normal. A proposal should have a preliminary paper title and a brief description/summary of what text and question you will discuss (an abstract).

Paper 1: Describe a particular canonical or non-canonical Buddhist philosophy through the interpretation and analysis of a specific text or chapter of a text.

Paper 2: this should be an expansion or extension of your interpretation and analysis in paper one applied and related to an intercultural/comparative or modern philosophical topic or discourse.
