A scenario-based 25-minute individual presentation. The presentation, notes and Harvard reference list will need to be submitted.
1.Debate the challenges and opportunities facing service users and their families/carers with complex and challenging health and social care needs;
2. Critically explore the nurses’ professional role in managing, co-ordinating and evaluating complex, diverse and challenging care situations;
3. Critically explore collaborative working across contemporary and integrated health and social care environments;
4. Appraise and apply evidence, including policy and mental health legislation to inform clinical decision-making in partnership with service users and their families, identifying opportunities and strengths to promote safe, effective, health and social care.
The presentation will be timed and should last a maximum of 25 minutes. There will be a +10% margin, beyond which nothing will be marked.
The presentation must all be supported by evidence of wider reading and referenced using the Harvard system where necessary. You submit your video presentation via Panopto. This is not anonymous, so all content should be identified by your name.
