Critically analyse the case of an existing social enterprise and examine how entrepreneurial practices are introduced in response to social problems.

Students initially have to select a social enterpise and analyse the social challenges that initiated the entrepreneurial action. Then they should describe how the model of the particular social enterprise addresses social problems and the conditions under which the venture operates. Finally, they should identify any emerging problem for the social venture described and offer recommendations for altering its business model.

Proposed structure of the assignment

2. Social Challenge Explained

The students are required to explain the emerging challenge that the social enterprise aims to address and describe whether and/or how it is resolved through either the non-profit sector or the market.

3. Business Model

Students are required to present the business model of the selected social enterprise using the business model canvas. In turn, they should write a paragraph for each building block of the business model canvas.

4. Conflict Between Social and Economic Purposes

5. Issues Identified

The students are required to identify any problems that the social enterprise needs to resolve.

6. Proposed social innovation

The students are required to propose an innovation for the existing social enteprise model. The proposed innovation can be any type of innovation (product innovation, process innovation etc.)

Before there should also be an introduction and the table of contents, also the conclusion in the end. The paper needs to be 2500 words
