African American Freedom Struggle

Create a PowerPoint/Slide show of at least 10 slides (but no more than 15) that shows photographs for the Civil Rights Movement.

Each slide must have the following information (and be in order of dates in time. For example, April 1963 should be before May 1965)

1. Date of the photograph

2. Location of photograph (where was it taken)

3. The people in the photograph (as many as you can identify)

4. A brief description of the photograph in your own words ( what is happening, what is the occasion, what is the significance of this photo)

5. Where you found the photograph (which website – like a citation)

6. If the photographer is listed, be sure to include this. We want to make sure to honor their work and contribution to the movement.
