For this task, you will first create a mind map where you brainstorm one to two questions/ideas you have related to each of the eight passions. Then, you will write an essay in which you articulate your questions/ideas about the various passions and provide more information on the passion you feel is most important to your professional life. This will help you to define the passion area and topic you plan to work on for the remainder of the course.

In your essay, be sure to address the following components:

An overview of your mind map and what guided the questions/ideas you placed in each of the eight passions.
Which of the passions do you feel is most important to explore at this time in your professional life and why? Include relevant research and resources to support this passion and why it is important to learn more as well as your own professional opinion.
Which of the passions do you feel is of least importance to your professional life at this time and why? Include relevant research and resources to support this passion, and then explain why it is important to education as a whole even though it is not a professional passion for you at this time.
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages
References: Minimum of five scholarly resources.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards where appropriate.
