Prompt: Clean–up the following audio recording for our taping of “Sunflower” In this folder you will find the necessary scenes and takes needed to edit. In some instances, the lav mic cuts out, so it is important to note you may have to combine it with the Boom mic and edit the Boom so that it fits in nicely as one piece where the lavalier is cutting out.
Do the following:
• Edit white noise (using a sound remover or a similar plugin)
• EQ dialogue (to fit it in the mix with the music)
• Remove any unnecessary squeaking or pops from the floor
• Compressor (If needed)
• Use multiband dynamics of some sort to “warm up” or “fill out” the vocal (if needed)
• EQ the song (slightly) to fit the vocal into the mix of the song
• Combine source music and boom mic file (best leveling)
• If there are multiple takes, no need to combine the source music and mic file but still mix them as if you
were going to
Feel free to use any editing DAW software that you’d like. Remember to have fun! We are just trying
to see where you’re at.

Deliverable:
1) Take a screenshot of the plugins you used in your tracks or on your master chain. We just want to see what plugins you
used (ex: compressor, saturator, EQ, etc)
2) Screenshot of how you EQ’d the song, this is so we see how you fit the vocal into the mix of the song.
3.) Your audio WAV file. 24–bit. 48.2 kHz
