Perspectives Home Work One report on Individual
- Choose an individual who played a role in influencing minorities participation in sports. That person could be anyone not just an athlete. Relate what that role was and what they did.
- What was the impact. How did they impact the participation. Was it a positive or negative impact for the group.
- What were the circumstances at the time. Were there cultural, social, religious or other factors that were in play other than political. Explain how the process evolved and what that persons part was and the impact on their lives.
- What is the situation today. Is it better for future generations. Were there social implications that changed also.
- The person can be from any country involved in any discrimination involving sports of any type.
