Part I Problem or Objective

The topic is Gun Violence.

What do you want to study and why?
What is your hypothesis?
Why should we be concerned with this topic?
Does your study tie into any larger theory?
Does it have a practical significance?
How does it tie to a better understanding of crime or policy responses to crime?

Literature Review(Review at least 4 scholarly journal articles, these articles should be research-based) The literature review should show the relationship of your problem to previous research. ( Article has to be research articles for Criminal justice).

Briefly review the literature directly pertinent to your topic. In your reviews of prior research, emphasize the methodology and findings.
What theories address your problem?
What have other researchers found regarding your topic?
Are the findings consistent, or do past studies disagree?
Are there weaknesses or flaws with the past studies that your research can address?
What methods did they use?
What variables do other studies examine?

The paper is supposed to be written like a paper, not question and answer, the questions are supposed to guide the topics you should cover. Also, you need to cover the 4 Research articles that you found on your topic, also written in paragraphs…talk about the methods/data collection, results, weaknesses, etc of each of the articles and summarize the past research in general.
