Analyze in essay format, 2 pre-mid twentieth century/Black Power organizations, movements, and/or leaders and determine their goals, efficacy and utility, within its time period. Although our Berry & Gross text (2020) has many examples of African descendant women’s related organizations/movements/issues, you may select your 2 examples from any other source. However, your essays must use and cite Berry and Goss’ work/analysis. Essay guidelines: 4 pages minimum; 4 sources minimum (including Berry & Gross); formal essay format: a unique and descriptive title; clearly stated thesis or abstract; well-developed paragraphs for each point/argument and supported for same with detailed resources/textual evidence; a conclusion which outlines the limitations and suggests ways forward with the research; a work cited/reference/bibliography pay in any professional disciplinary style (Chicago Manual/Turabian, APA, MLA, etc.)
