Write a case study about a social movement anywhere in the world at any point in time and provide a critical analysis of it.
Divide the content into three parts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)
• Part 1: Describe the social issue being challenged; explain the dynamics of power, institutions, and historical relations that produced the issue.
• Part 2: Drawing upon documentation, media coverage, publications etc. explain how the movement understands how social change happens; detail their goals; and explain their practices; and how these address the status quo.
• Part 3: Evaluating the effectiveness of the movement and the social challenges they face, propose what might be significant about the movement in terms of how they change the cultural landscape of the conversation, even if they have not reached their goals fully.
Requirement of Use of Academic Sources: This assignment requires substantial use of at least three peer reviewed scholarly academic sources such as scholarly journals articles, academic books etc. You can use more than three academic sources.
Referencing Style, Word and Page Limit: APA (Sixth or Seventh Edition) should be used for in-text citations and bibliography/referencing. Your assignment should be 1000-1200 (3-4 pages) in length, not including title page or bibliography
