Read the Book: Bogenschneider, K. Family policy matters: How policymaking affects families and what professionals can do (2nd ed.). Mahwah, NJ:Erlbaum, 2006.
Then google the program http://www.hcz.org
Using the family impact checklist and the principles identified in Appendix A of the Bogenschneider (2006) text, write an analysis of the program.

Answer the following questions:
What are the supportive effects of the program?
What are the undermining or non-supportive effects?
List each principle from the Family Impact Analysis checklist and indicate if the principle is supported, non-supported, or not relevant for the issue.
Under each principle, use only those questions that seem appropriate for your program.
Are there beneficial effects that might have been overlooked without the Family Impact Analysis?
Are there harmful effects that a Family Impact Analysis could help avoid?
Summarize the conclusion of your analysis.
